Creating and sharing fundraising campaigns
Last updated on 11.08.2026
Use Fundraising → Campaigns to create a fundraising campaign directly in Komma. No external fundraising or payment service is required.
Creating a campaign
- Enter a name and short description.
- Optionally add a target amount, end date and project or purpose.
- Set the status to Active.
- Open the public page and share the displayed link.
How a donation works
Donors enter their name, amount and optionally their email address on the public page. Komma creates a unique reference and displays your organisation's bank transfer details. No external payment provider is involved.
The entry is initially a pledge, not a confirmed payment. If an email address was provided, Komma also emails the transfer instructions.
Confirming incoming payments
Under Fundraising → Donations, you can see all open pledges. Check the actual bank payment and then mark the donation as Received. Only then does it count towards the campaign total; any configured thank-you email is sent automatically.
Pledges that were not paid or were entered by mistake can be cancelled. Confirmed bank transactions remain the reliable basis for reports and donation receipts.
Availability and permissions
Fundraising is an optional module. It only appears for organisations where it is enabled and for users with the appropriate permission.
