An overview of the interface

Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be taken to the home page of your portal. It shows you the most important information at a glance and is the starting point for all sections.

The sidebar

On the left, you’ll find the main navigation. It’s divided into sections that can be expanded:

Which sections you see depends on your organisation and your permissions – not every organisation uses all modules, and some sections (such as Finance or Admin) require specific permissions.

Each section has an overview page

When you click on a main section in the navigation bar, its overview page (‘hub’) opens first, featuring tiles for all sub-sections and a brief explanation. From there, you can access the individual functions.

Header

At the top, you’ll find the search bar, notifications and the user menu. Via the user menu, you can access your account settings and log out. Administrators can also switch between organisations here.

Dark Mode

Komma supports a dark mode. You can toggle this in the settings – the interface will then switch to a dark colour scheme, which is easier on the eyes, particularly in the evening.

Using Komma on mobile

Komma works entirely within the browser – even on a smartphone. On small screens, a compact navigation bar appears at the bottom; you can open the sidebar via the menu icon.
