Log in to Komma

Komma deliberately avoids using traditional passwords. Instead, you log in using one of the following methods – all of which are more secure and convenient than a password that can be forgotten or stolen.

Magic Link (Default)

1. Open app.komma.team.
2. Enter your email address.
3. You’ll receive an email with the subject line ‘Login link’. Click on the link inside – that’s it, you’re logged in.

The link is only valid for a short time and works exactly once. If you don’t receive the email, check your spam folder or request a new link.

Passkey

Passkeys are the most modern way to log in: You simply confirm your login using your fingerprint, facial recognition or your device PIN – no email required.

You can set up a passkey in your account settings after logging in for the first time. After that, all you need to do when logging in is click on “Log in with passkey”.

One-time code (TOTP)

Alternatively, you can link an authenticator app (e.g. Apple Passwords, Google Authenticator or 1Password) to your account. When logging in, you then enter the six-digit code from the app.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’m not receiving a login email. Check your spam folder and the spelling of your email address. The address must be registered as a user at Komma – if it isn’t, please contact your organisation’s administrator.

Can I use several methods at the same time? Yes. Magic Link always works; you can also set up Passkey and one-time codes. Find out more under Manage login methods.

How do I log out? Via the user menu in the top right-hand corner of the portal.
